Revenues Surge 7% at P&G in Q3

Beauty sales jump 6%, too.

P&G’s earnings for its third-quarter ended March 31 slid 1.1 percent to $2.59 billion, or 83 cents a diluted share, from $2.61 billion, or 84 cents, a year earlier. Adjusted earnings of 89 cents beat Wall Street’s target by 7 cents. Revenues rose 7.4%to $19.18 billion from $17.86 billion. Beauty sales rose 6% to $4.6 billion on a 4% rise in unit volume....
